Macau: May 2010

Senado Square

My first trip to one of the Chinese countries was a nice trip, though I was expecting more. This is a country colonised by Portuguese. Most of the buildings in Macau are the leftover of the Portuguese and they are well preserved. It is a small country where most of the tourists come here for its casinos and hotel casinos. Hotel casinos are everywhere and the city's night view are colourful and stunning. Most hotels in Macau are also expensive especially for walk in customers. I'm not sure if it is cheaper to book the hotels before arrival.

There are also historical sites such as the St. Paul
Ruins, Guia Fortress,Moorish Barracks and  others. The Historical Center, including the Senado Square is declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

There is nothing much I can describe about this trip, so let the pictures do the talking.
