Bangkok, Thailand

Just came back from Bangkok yesterday...phewww....nice place but it would be nicer if I can spend more on shopping, shoppaholic...well...not much different as compared to KL...However, the taxi drivers are more polite compared to no attitude Malaysian taxi drivers...Thai people they hardly speak English...communication was a problem...but luckily we have a few Thai people who were willing to help us, show us good places to go...good place to have our meals...I think I should learn Thai language...hello..thank u..that's all i know...anyone plans to go to Bangkok...don't forget to go to Suan Lum Night Market...local people call it..Suan Lum Naiiii!!!The typical pronunciation for the Thais...

In Bangkok, we stayed at Princeton hotel for free. Ahakksss...not really free but my Makcu is a member of Berjaya Vacation and she entitles to get free hotel accommodations in several countries every year.Facilities are good with swimming pool, jacuzzi and others. My 2 cousins went for swimming but I didn't join them because I didn't bring my swimsuit.

Went to Floating market as well...2 hours journey from the Bangkok city...just love the fresh fruit..the mangoes...the pomelos...the coconuts...and the thins I'm craving till today..the coconut pancake...yummy...sweet, delicious, mouth-watering...went to Rose Garden as well...snap some pictures with the parrots and the Albino python...watched the cultural show...phewww....really awesome...hope to go there again next year...While at the floating market, we got the chance ride the boat along Chao Phraya river (or in Thai, they call it Menam Chao Phraya). The last time I heard about this river around 10 years back in the Geography subject.

I should have gone to Chiang Mai as well but flight ticket was fully booked....Thai people love their king very much,King Bhumibol Bhumibol...Tuesday was their King's birthday...so the Thais wore yellow attire...and they look so...yellow...ahakkss....
Oh yess...most of the people in Bangkok drove Honda and Toyota. I couldn't see any Malaysia-made car there...whatever...they even have Toyota Altis as cabs...and their cabs are colourful...purple..fuschia...orang...yellow...Very cheap taxi fair..unlike here in Malaysia where the taxi drivers always try to rip everyone, be it tourist or local people....
We went to Rose Garden which is somewhere near to anywhere (which means I have no idea where this place is located). It's not really a ROSE Garden and don't understand why they call it Rose Garden. They have more orchids than roses. Here, we watched elephant show where the elephants were dancing, hoola-hooping and even acrobating. There were parrots as well and the best part, I was given a chance to hold a python (albino python anyway). Enjoyed a lot at this place.

Their new international airport...Survhanabhumi airport...very big and busy...airport tax is much2 cheaper..but I think KLIA is much2 better eventhough the airport tax is expensive

Whatever it is...Thailand is a good place for shopaholic...and for guys...it is the 'heaven of the earth'..
